Our factory has installed a new set of electrically heated steam generators to produce saturated steam; the outlet pressure is increased to a maximum of 1.2 MPa by a pump, and the temperature is around 250°C. May I ask: what compensation mode should be used for the metering of the secondary gauge? Saturated steam temperature compensation/pressure compensation? Superheated steam temperature and pressure compensation? It seems there is no compensation for saturated steam temperature and pressure.
What exactly does the compensation mode refer to? There should be both temperature and pressure compensation, right?
Saturated steam, at the same pressure, corresponds to the same temperature and density.
Your operating conditions should involve superheated steam, requiring compensation for both temperature and pressure. Steam has two operating conditions: one is saturated steam, and temperature or pressure compensation is required to measure the flow rate. Second is superheated steam; accurate flow measurement requires simultaneous compensation for both temperature and pressure.
I would like to ask the original poster: What kind of pump is used to generate steam pressure in this device? I searched for a long time but couldn’t find any manufacturer that produces steam booster pumps.

If 1.25 MPa is gauge pressure and the saturation temperature is 193 degrees Celsius, with the current temperature at 250 degrees, it is in a superheated state; therefore, superheating temperature and pressure compensation is necessary. If it is absolute pressure, superheat temperature and pressure compensation should be applied even more.
It belongs to superheated steam, so temperature and pressure compensation is required. Bar-type flow meters can be used on-site, along with secondary meters for steam measurement; our company uses Yudian products, and these secondary meters can be connected to sensors for temperature and pressure – the settings can be found in the instruction manual
