Some of my views: What are the conditions regarding the operating parameters? Medium? Pressure? Temperature? Viscosity? Corrosion? For a diameter of 400, butterfly valves should be given priority for two reasons: first, they are more cost-effective and easier to install; second, they can meet the requirements regarding leakage levels and opening degrees. V-ball valves exhibit approximately equal percentage characteristics, but in practical terms, the regulation performance of both types is not ideal.
