The coal chemical industry is currently booming, and everyone is getting involved in it. Choosing the right approach is a major issue: 1. The quality of the coal is crucial – it determines which gasification process is suitable; 2. There are significant risks, as an inappropriate choice can lead to serious problems down the line; 3. Factors such as investment, technology, environmental considerations, and operational experience also need to be taken into account; 4. I think the first factor is the environment’s capacity to handle it; the second factor is the quality of the coal; and the third factor is the product needed. For chemical industries, Shell is generally a good choice, while for power generation, Texaco is preferable. The rest can be discussed further
In my opinion, the treatment of by-products and wastewater from coal pulverization pressurized gasification is very difficult, while dry powder fluidized bed gasification has a short startup time; certainly, the Texaco water-coal slurry gasification process is the most reliable option at present. As for the pulp formation issue, it can now be resolved. Everyone can discuss it.
