To create an image of clean emissions through a chimney, it’s best to remove even the water mist as well. The previous set of acid mist purification towers will do; if possible, they can also be placed inside the chimney. Place the key units inside the chimney

Reply to 4# postyin: The exhaust gas from the incinerator contains toluene, DME in small amounts, as well as decomposition products and fluorides; it is acidic, so hydrogen fluoride must be present. It has a strong odor. The products after incineration have not been tested, but they probably consist mainly of water, with a much weaker smell. Removal of pollutants and water vapor is necessary for environmental reasons and to avoid negative impacts, as water vapor is considered toxic exhaust gas.
HF is removed using chemical washing methods; mist eliminators are installed at the outlet of the washing tower, and they can be selected according to requirements, so removing water mist is not a problem
The foul odor can be removed through high-temperature incineration, while hydrogen fluoride gas can be removed using wet, semi-dry, or dry methods – the specific method depends on the processes used in your plant
Effective defluorination definitely requires a wet method, which in turn introduces the problem of HF corrosion; it’s difficult to design equipment for this purpose. Since the original poster is looking for a low-cost solution, it seems that only those who have never tried this approach would consider it.
