What are the requirements for assembly drawings? Title block, port list, technical specifications – which standards should be used?
There are no specific requirements for the assembly diagram; once you’ve assembled it, you can indicate its approximate dimensions. For the title bar and detailed list, just fill them in as required. In the general assembly diagram, where no technical specifications are provided, for the assembly of certain parts welding is required in some areas; the technical requirements are determined based on the welding indications. Regarding this, if you are familiar with the manufacturing process, I think you wouldn’t need to ask such a question!
I have now drawn the individual part drawings; is the assembly drawing simply a combination of these part drawings? For example, if I draw an assembly diagram of a pump, and I’ve already drawn the pump casing, impeller, shaft, etc., do I need to combine them together?
