My unit is equipped with two pump injectors. When one of them operates alone, the motor current rises slowly over time; generally, it takes about 3 to 7 days for the current to increase from 110A to 135A. No problems were found in the pump itself upon inspection, and no issues were detected either after examining the motor. There are also no abnormalities in the process parameters (flow rate, pump outlet pressure, and flow control valve opening)； Dear experts, what are the reasons that can cause an increase in motor current?
The reason for the increase in current is an increased load. Based on the inspection methods suggested by the original poster, it’s possible that the packing ring is too tight or that friction from rotating components is contributing to this phenomenon
