I’m quite lucky; at the end of last year I posted on Haichuan, struggling with the decision of whether to buy a larger house or a smaller one. Everyone gave me lots of suggestions, and in the end I bought a three-bedroom, two-living-room, one-bathroom apartment. The keys are supposed to be handed over in August this year, and I would have started renovating it to move in by then. But this year I don’t want to do any renovations; instead, I want to buy a car – a sedan that costs around 100,000 yuan in total. I prefer red colors, and I’m interested in the Zhonghua Junjie. Please give me some advice, or suggest other cars I could consider. Thank you.
Having a house and a car brings envy, jealousy, and hatred. The original poster is so lucky!
Starting to enjoy life now – truly enviable!
I recommend buying a Volkswagen car. I ordered one before the New Year when I was back in my hometown in Shandong, and while taking a taxi in Jiangsu, the taxi driver told me that I should choose a Volkswagen – firstly because their value holds up well over time, secondly because they are durable and have a high safety level, and thirdly because they are easy to maintain; many repair shops are familiar with Volkswagen cars, have plenty of spare parts available, and the costs for repairs are low. My first car was a Peugeot; later I switched to a Santana 3000. Then, considering my experience and capabilities, I bought a lower-specification Volkswagen New Bora
A car worth around 100,000 – you’ll regret buying it. Add some money and buy a Honda CRV or a Honda Accord. It costs a lot to buy, but is inexpensive to use. If you mean the Chinese version, then don’t buy it.
Reply to 4# slayerstar: I’m not really fond of the first two models; the later ones look great, but they are a bit expensive – over 100,000
Replying to 3# 654262293: I just want to put a bit of pressure on myself; buying a car is mainly for convenience when going out, as I don’t drive often, and gasoline prices are really high
Reply to 2# wang*neng: You’ll get it soon too, really. I hope everyone is happy. I often visit the HaiChuan forum to browse; I like the atmosphere here. It’s a place I must visit in my free time. Thank you.
Reply to 5# siena2008: I’m also hesitating right now; the reputation of the Junjie isn’t very good. The only thing that attracts me is its appearance, which resembles that of a BMW, haha. I’m thinking about it
Most people prefer red when buying a car for the first time – it’s festive, right^_^ But in the end, white is the better choice. But it also depends on the vehicle model. A white Honda Accord – it never goes out of style, even after over 10 years. For other vehicle models, they need to be replaced every 2 to 3 years. Especially the China series you mentioned. However, it’s more stylish for women to drive white urban SUVs such as CRV and RAV4. Don’t buy domestic off-road vehicles.
It’s better to choose a branded car. The quality of a car depends mainly on two aspects: the engine and safety; appearance is just about looking good.
