For example, a shoulder harness is used for distances of 2–5 meters, while a full-body harness is used for distances of 15–30 meters, and so on. (5) DxW2Y — Telecommunication worker’s pole-rope single-strap type. When in use, this type of safety belt functions in a manner similar to the belt-type safety belts used by electricians. The difference is that the single-strap safety belt for telecommunication workers allows the length of the rope used to secure the pole to be adjusted by means of 3 adjustment rings, thereby meeting the operational needs of the workers. Suspension work types: Suitable for industries such as construction, shipbuilding, and installation; available in two versions – single-strap and double-strap. The single-belt type offers 6 different sizes of safety belts for workers to choose from. (1) J1XY —— Scaffolder Type I, suspended with a single waist belt. (2) J2XY —— Scaffolder Type II, suspension with single waist belt. (3) LXY – Railway shunting single-strap type. (4) DxXY – Telecommunication worker’s single-strap type. This type of safety belt is suitable for telecommunications workers to use while working on lines; the operator can change their working position within the basket as required by the task. (5) T1XY – Universal Type I suspension, single belt type. The safety rope used in this type of belt is 3m long, which increases the working range when in use. (6) T2XS – Universal Type II suspension, self-locking type. This type of safety belt is suitable for use in special working environments, such as the renovation, painting, and cleaning of exterior walls on high-rise buildings. Within the height or slope range where the worker is active, a synthetic fiber or steel wire rope together with a self-locking hook is fixed; the self-locking hook can move freely along the rope. The worker attaches the safety hook to this self-locking hook, and once the hook is moved to the position required for the work, the worker can proceed with their tasks. The double-strap type offers 4 different sizes of safety belts for workers to choose from. (1) T1XB – Universal Type I suspension with dual shoulder straps. In the event of a fall, the dual shoulder straps can reduce the stress on the lower back, thereby providing better protection. (2) T2XB – Universal Type II suspension with dual shoulder straps. This type of safety belt comes with shoulder straps and lap straps; in the event of a fall, it distributes the impact force across the arms, hips, and waist, minimizing the impact on the waist and thus providing optimal protection. (3) T3XB – Universal Type III suspension with dual shoulder straps. This type of seat belt is leg-strap style and can also serve to distribute impact forces. (4) T4XB – Universal Type IV suspension with dual shoulder straps. This type of safety belt features leg straps and dual shoulder straps, and is suitable for special tasks such as inspecting bridge piers, where workers need to be suspended in the air. Climbing operations: There are 3 different sizes of safety belts available for workers to choose from. (1) T1PH – Universal Type I climbing activity belt. It is suitable for workers who need to climb to high heights, to prevent them from falling during such climbs, such as when working on the top of chimneys, telegraph towers, or water towers. The user first fastens their safety belt, wearing a movable climbing hook connected to the belt in each hand. They alternate between using these hooks to attach themselves to the ladder or other climbing surfaces, ensuring that one hook remains attached to the ladder at all times; this prevents the worker from falling. (2) T2PH – Universal Type II climbing activity belt. This is a semi-open, semi-closed climbing belt. Unlike the T1PH, it has only one climbing hook, with the other being a closed safety hook (gourd hook). When in use, the worker must first attach the safety hook (gourd hook) along the way, and then attach the climbing hook; this allows the worker to stay and work at that point. (3) TPG – Universal climbing fixing system. This is a climbing belt equipped with a self-locking hook. It is suitable for relatively complex working environments, such as iron ladders used for climbing chimneys. A rope is first fixed to the ladder – this rope can be either a synthetic fiber rope or a steel wire rope, and it must have sufficient strength. When the worker climbs up, they simply need to connect the self-locking hook to the fixed rope, which serves to provide limitation and relative fixation. The worker can climb upward freely along the rope; in the event of a fall, the self-locking hook locks in place, preventing the worker from continuing to slide down.
Personal protective equipment that prevents workers working at heights from falling, or that safely suspends them in the event of a fall. There is no such thing as a shoulder strap; there are only single-strap and double-strap types. The full-body seatbelt is of the double-strap type, with two leg loops added beneath the hips. If choosing a twin-strap version, it’s best to opt for a full-body seat belt.

Under normal circumstances, for work at heights of 2 to 5 meters, a safety belt with five points and two large hooks, without an impact buffer, is required. When the falling height exceeds 5 meters (the exact requirement depends on the force generated by the impact buffer), a safety belt with five points, two large hooks, and an impact buffer should be used. For other types of work at similar heights, additional fall protection measures must be implemented depending on the specific risks involved.
