In line with the actual requirements of work in safety production positions, the 2008 version of the \"Syllabus for the Professional Qualification Examination for Registered Safety Engineers\" (hereinafter referred to as the syllabus) was revised to produce the 2011 version of the syllabus. The revisions to the relevant information are as follows: 1. The approach to compiling the exam syllabus has changed. The approach used in the 2008 version of the exam syllabus, which focused on assessing candidates’ understanding, familiarity, and mastery of relevant knowledge, has been changed to one that evaluates candidates’ ability to apply such knowledge to analyze, judge, and solve practical problems related to work safety. II. The content of the examination syllabus has been appropriately adjusted. (1) The subject of \"Work Safety Law and Related Legal Knowledge\". “The title “Overview of Laws on Work Safety” was changed to “Work Safety Legal System”, and content on the work safety standard system was added ； The section on laws and administrative regulations regarding work safety now includes the Emergency Response Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Administrative License Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Labor Contract Law of the People’s Republic of China, and the Regulations on Labor Protection in Workplaces Using Toxic Substances ； The regulations issued by the work safety department have removed certain provisions from the \"Measures for Administrative Penalties for Work Safety Violations\" and the \"Regulations on the Management of Work Safety Inspection and Testing Institutions\"; meanwhile, new provisions such as the \"Regulations on Safety Training for Production and Business Entities\", the \"Regulations on the Management of Safety Technical Training and Assessment for Special Operators\", the \"Measures for the Management of Emergency Plans for Work Safety Accidents\", the \"Measures for the Reporting of Occupational Hazards in Workplaces\", the \"Interim Provisions on the Identification and Rectification of Potential Work Safety Hazards\", the \"Measures for the Reporting and Handling of Information on Work Safety Accidents\", the \"Regulations on the Management of Safety Evaluation Agencies\", the \"Interim Provisions on the Supervision and Management of Safety Facilities in Construction Projects\", and the \"Regulations on the Supervision and Management of Fire Safety in Construction Projects\" have been added ； The section on \"Work Safety Standard System and Key Standards\" has been removed; the content related to the work safety standard system has been incorporated into the \"Work Safety Legal System\", while the content related to key work safety standards has been included in the subjects of \"Work Safety Management Knowledge\" and \"Work Safety Technology\". (II) The “Knowledge of Work Safety Management” subject. The overall structure has been adjusted from 11 parts to 19, and the content related to \"safety production management in production and operation units\" has been merged or reorganized ； Contents on “standardization of work safety,” “safety culture,” “management of special equipment safety,” and “management of stakeholders’ safety” have been added. (III) The “Safety Production Technology” subject. \"Mechanical and electrical safety technology\" was divided into \"mechanical safety technology\" and \"electrical safety technology\", while \"safety ergonomics\" was incorporated into the \"mechanical safety technology\" category; contents related to the safety characteristics and fault diagnosis techniques of machinery, as well as the reliability and maintainability of machinery, were removed from \"safety ergonomics\" ； In the “Transportation Safety” section, requirements for aviation safety have been added. (IV) The subject of “Case Analysis of Work Safety Accidents”. The content of case analysis has been expanded to 5 aspects: ① Identification of hazardous factors, identification of major hazard sources involving hazardous chemicals, safety production inspections, investigation and management of potential safety production accidents, safety assessments, assessment of occupational disease hazards, and case analysis of safety technology measure plans ； ②Establishment of safety production management organizations and staffing, formulation and revision of safety production regulations, safety training, safety management of special equipment and case studies on stakeholder management ； ③Case studies on safety production licensing, supervision and management of the \"simultaneous implementation\" of safety facilities in construction projects, safety production standardization and compliance, as well as safety culture development and evaluation ； ④Emergency system construction, development and drills of emergency plans, emergency preparedness and response, emergency handling, and case analysis of post-incident recovery ； ⑤Reporting, investigation, analysis, and handling of production safety accidents; case studies on statistical analysis of production safety accidents.
