It depends on where the water enters. If it enters through a coiled tube, explosion-proof putty must be added. The circuit board needs to be wiped clean with alcohol and then dried with a hair dryer; otherwise, the transmitter will have to be discarded. . .

Is it a pressure (differential pressure, gauge pressure) transmitter? An electromagnetic flowmeter transmitter? A mass transmitter? Or some other type of transmitter?
Generally, if water enters through the wire conduit, the problem isn’t serious; it only causes the lightning protection panel to fall off. The header data jumps around randomly. Tables of poor quality will all be scrapped
If the transmitter can still function when water enters the header on one side, the indication in the control room will be higher than that at the site
Here, once, five or six pressure transmitters in Rosemont got flooded with water – it came in through the flexible tubes! ! ! However, we took the circuit board apart and left it in the sun for two days, until it dried out. After reinstalling it, it worked normally again! ! It’s been two years, and it’s still working fine! ! ! Hehe
The wiring room and the circuit board room are separated; if water enters through the wire conduits, simply clean it with anhydrous alcohol!
If it has an IP67 protection rating, then once water gets into the wiring connections, as long as the water is dried off, there should be no problems. But for those below IP67, it’s hard to say.
