Reasons for high nitrogen and carbon content

Recently, during the production process, we have encountered situations where the carbon content exceeds 500 and the nitrogen content exceeds 700. We would appreciate it if experts could help us understand the reasons for this
We have encountered the same problem as well; a high N content is caused by N2 getting into the system, and this level decreases as pure H is used to displace it. The C level is high as well, and we’re not sure what’s causing it – some say it’s due to a graphite seat or oil leaking into the system.
The key is to first find the source of these impurities; once the source is identified, it’s easy to resolve the issue
First, look at the raw materials; if the carbon content in them is high, then the next issue relates to the adsorption towers where CDI is used. Oil leakage in the system can lead to high-temperature carbonization, as well as problems with the reduced graphite layers. I think it’s most likely that the issue lies with those graphite layers. .
Is it in the recovered hydrogen? If so, then the carbon content is too high.
