I’m looking for materials for the fixed-bed synthesis of vinyl acetate; could you also provide specific materials suitable for fixed beds?
Do you want the acetylene method or the ethylene method?
Reply to 2# hay03: We use the calcium carbide-acetylene method. It seems that there is no such method used in China at present; only Chuanwei uses natural gas acetylene to produce vinyl acetate.

Reply to 4# hay03: You are using a fluidized bed reactor, so there will definitely be significant differences in the process parameters going forward. Also, your entire process package is likely subject to confidentiality regulations, haha!

The shell is SB42SP, and the tube is SUS316L-WAD
Material? Our factory uses this exact process
Hello, I would also like to ask about the materials used for fixed-bed reactors in vinyl acetate production – are they carbon steel or low-alloy steel? Which one should be chosen?
