Who can help provide instructions on how to check for ammonia leakage in a device? The more detailed, the better :) Should ammonia water or liquid ammonia be added to the device, and what amount should be used? Please explain
It is neither ammonia water nor liquid ammonia; instead, nitrogen is filled first and then ammonia is added, with the concentration of ammonia being determined by controlling the partial pressure, typically kept at 1–2 vol%. Test on the other side of the device using phenolphthalein test paper, which can be pre-soaked in water. It’s very intuitive and accurate.
