Our unit is equipped with a hot water tank and a cold water tank. Overflow and drainage flow into the hot water tank; after oil and dust removal, the water from this tank enters the cold water tank via air cooling. The gas phases from both tanks go into the water seal tank and the alkali washing tank before being released into the atmosphere. 1. Recently, following the rise in temperatures, the pressures in the hot water tank and the cold water tank have fluctuated abnormally without any intervention, shifting back and forth between positive and negative pressures ; 2. The glass panels of the hot water tank also start to crack frequently, and after cracking the tank often fluctuates between slight negative pressure and slight positive pressure ; 3. Calibrating the instrument for a few days indicates that there are no issues with it and that its measurements are accurate ; 4. When the rupture disc has not broken, due to pressure fluctuations, the operator injects nitrogen; however, no matter how much nitrogen is injected, the pressure remains at most slightly positive ; 5. The water seal tank is often broken; even when water is added daily, it still gets broken. I hope experts can help analyze it! ! ! ! Thank you! ! ! !

The cold coke water tank is large, its temperature is higher than room temperature, and it contains a lot of water vapor and oil vapor; especially the oil vapor, which is highly unstable in hot water, causing the pressure inside the tank to fluctuate between positive and negative pressures.
What really puzzles me is that our blast glass plate hasn’t broken, but no matter how much nitrogen is injected, the pressure doesn’t increase; at the same time, the water seal keeps breaking. Could it be due to the injection of nitrogen? !
What is the rupture pressure of a burst disc? It is necessary to check whether the pressure at the time of rupture matches the pressure indicated by the instruments, whether the gas lines of both tanks and those connected to the water seal tank are unobstructed, and that the path from the gas lines to the cooling and drainage pipelines is clear so that the rupture disc does not activate. The diameter of the gas lines should be properly designed.
Upper limit: 1800 Pa, lower limit: -100 Pa. There is an issue with the gauge’s range setting; the upper limit cannot be seen.......
