Mist eliminators come in different profile types, pitches, and configurations. What does \"profile type\" mean in this context? And do pitch and configuration here mean spacing and structure respectively? Thank you!
The profile type should be “Traffic Model”. That is, the way in which the fluid moves within the demister. Personal opinion, for your reference
Regarding the profile type, my opinion is that it should be of the mesh type. Often, when we talk about profiles, we are referring to coordinate systems; in mist eliminators, there is a mesh-like structure that functions similarly to coordinates. Therefore, I think it should be of the mesh type. Pitch, on the other hand, likely refers to the spacing between elements – when mist droplets rise, they move over a certain distance between them. A similar term is used to describe the spacing between baffle plates in heat exchangers. This is just for reference
The following sentence appears again: The mist eliminator consists of the frame work and the separator profiles. Considering these two elements together, how should this \"profile\" be interpreted?
I just looked at the equipment drawings; the guy on the 2nd floor is right – it refers to the type of screen layout.
