It is possible that debris wrapped around the sensor prevents the vortex detector from detecting vortices temporarily. . . You can tap on the pipe to observe if there is any change in the indication. If the problem persists, consider the issue with the preamplifier. . .
If the low-flow cut-off setting is set too high, the flow rate will suddenly drop to zero when it is around that value. Of course, the problem with the flow meter itself cannot be ruled out either
