For the selection of insulation materials, what are the insulation materials used for cold oil pipelines?
For waterproof insulation materials, our company usually chooses black polyurethane insulation.
Currently, polyurethane insulation materials are commonly used, with the thickness determined based on actual needs; there are various specifications available.
Rigid polyurethane or soft polyurethane – choose according to the maximum temperature. I don’t know what kind of oil you have
We basically also use polyurethane; the thickness depends on the temperature.
Generally used for insulation: expanded polystyrene foam; for insulation below 300°C: rock wool. Alumina silicate for temperatures above 300℃
