Our company is located in Guangdong, where it is a bit humid during spring and summer. Cathode copper stored in the warehouse for an extended period tends to turn black; we are urgently looking for a solution.

This phenomenon is mainly caused by the non-dense growth of cathode copper and surface oxidation due to humid air. . It can be sealed in packages by tonnage ； Alternatively, after copper is soaked, surface anti-oxidation treatment can be applied; the simplest method is to soak it in soapy water to form a protective film on its surface.
There is a problem with the copper itself; start by investigating the issues at the production stage, and don’t overlook any detail, such as the acidity level during extraction, or the washing process before packaging

Wash it with dilute sulfuric acid, then soak it in hot water – it’s been oxidized.
