Recently, the top temperature of my distillation tower has been fluctuating significantly, ranging between 105 and 110 degrees Celsius. What is causing these fluctuations? Can top circulation water cause fluctuations? Why?
1. Changes in the top temperature of the fractionation tower, cold reflux flow rate, and changes in the temperature after cooling in the constant circulation system, or water carried in the reflux stream; 2. Changes in reaction depth and treatment capacity ; 3. Changes in mid-stage return flow rate or temperature, as well as changes in the amount of diesel exiting the unit ; 4. Changes in steam injection amounts for reaction and fractionation ; 5. Pressure changes in the distillation tower ; 6. The tray is clogged, with too many floating valves stuck, which affects the distillation efficiency ;
1. The variation in the top temperature of the fractionation tower is mainly influenced by the cold reflux flow rate, changes in the temperature after cooling in the constant circulation system, or water carried in the reflux stream; Changes in reaction depth and processing capacity ; Midstream return flow rate or temperature changes, changes in the amount of diesel leaving the plant ; The tray is clogged, and too many floating valves are stuck, which affects the distillation efficiency ; Factors such as salt formation in the distillation tower have an impact
The low liquid level in the reabsorption tower is controlled by liquid levels, resulting in significant fluctuations in flow rate, which has a certain impact on the temperature at the top of the fractionation tower
Is there anything else that needs to be added? :D
Water contamination might be the main issue; generally, it leads to pressure fluctuations. It’s necessary to figure out where the water is coming from – could it be due to a leak in the top circulation heat exchanger or some other heat exchanger?~~~
It is possible that salt deposition on the trays occurs; the water carried by the top circulation can lead to a decrease in the separation efficiency at the tower top, as well as fluctuations in the dry point of the crude gasoline. However, the top temperature should not experience significant fluctuations
