Jump or not jump?

A classmate of mine worked in a state-owned enterprise for three years, dealing with pipeline design. Now, because of his girlfriend in Beijing, he wants to leave his job, but he’s worried that his next income will be lower than what he has now; he doesn’t know whether to quit or not I wonder what the current market price is for his current level of skill? So hesitating? ? ?
If love is important, it doesn’t matter if the income is lower.
There are no such good things; you have to decide everything by yourself.
Changing jobs always comes with some difficulties, but it will get better once you get through it

Since the plan is to go to Beijing, that means it’s definitely not in SEI. After three years in a state-owned enterprise, it’s possible to move to another location; if one goes to Beijing, the salary is generally not low.
