When using a low-temperature methanol wash pump for cooling, what is the flow path of the cooling methanol? I would appreciate it if an expert could provide an answer. Is it through the connection pipeline between the operating pump and the standby pump that the cold methanol from the outlet of the operating pump is directed to the standby pump, and then returned to the equipment where the liquid is fed in, via the standby pump’s minimum reflux pipeline?
Our plant cools methanol through the connection pipelines between various pumps; these pipelines remain operational at all times, which is more or less what you described
