Is the quality assurance engineer in a pressure vessel manufacturing plant appointed by the legal representative of the company or by another person? Do those working as quality assurance engineers need to have relevant certification as quality assurance engineers?
A Quality Assurance Engineer needs to have certain qualifications to hold the position.
Here, one only needs to hold a senior administrative position in the organization to serve as a quality assurance engineer, on a nominal basis; the actual work is carried out by professionals
Basic requirements for quality assurance engineers: 1. Quality assurance engineers should be appointed by the person in charge of pressure vessel technology or a representative of the enterprise management, and must pass relevant training and assessment； 2. The quality assurance engineer should be a member of the company’s management team ； 3. Be familiar with the basic requirements of the quality assurance system as specified in the \"Requirements for Licensing the Manufacture of Boilers and Pressure Vessels\" ； 4. Familiar with regulations, standards, and technical requirements related to pressure vessels, and possess comprehensive professional knowledge in this field ； 5. Possess a fair, honest, scientific, and rigorous work style ； 6. The quality assurance engineers for manufacturing units of grades A, B, C, and D must be persons with an engineering title or higher who are engaged in pressure vessel technology work or technical management within such units, and must meet one of the following conditions: (1) Possess a junior college degree or higher in chemical machinery, and have been working in this field for more than 4 years ； (2) Hold a secondary vocational diploma in chemical engineering machinery and have at least 6 years of experience in this field ； (3) Hold an associate degree or higher in a science or engineering field (other than chemical engineering machinery), and have at least 5 years of experience in quality management related to pressure vessels.
