Can the fire steam in the cold exchange area and on the tower be used for purging? If temporary purge connectors are installed at all the purge points in the cold exchange area, is it still necessary to have a dedicated purge steam pipeline? Or can one steam line be used for both fire protection and purging purposes? Also, is the steam from the hose station connected to the fire protection steam pipeline? Looking forward to your advice!
For safety reasons, fire-fighting steam must be used specifically for this purpose; temporary blowing nozzles cannot be connected, nor can the same pipeline be used. Fire-fighting steam must be supplied separately from the steam main. During normal production, a blind flange should be installed on the purging head; it must not be opened casually to prevent steam from leaking in.

Reply to 7# huanyu112: That utility station should be what we refer to as a service point here; the steam at that service point should also be connected to the main steam pipeline, while the fire-fighting steam is directly connected to the main steam pipeline. You can go to the site to check the steam process at the service point.

Are you saying that the hose stations on the platform are connected to the purging steam line? So, is this steam cut off at the outlet of the main pipe when there is no purging?
