The flow rate of the material entering these tanks is 3 cubic meters per hour, and the pressure is around 8 kilograms. What is the breathing pressure of these storage tanks? There are also tanks with a capacity of 120 cubic meters; however, the medium used is thick. The feed flow rate is 35–40 cubic meters per hour, and the pressure is 6–7 kilograms. What is the breathing pressure of these storage tanks?

Is there a breather valve device inside the storage tank, so that when material is fed into the tank, the air inside can be removed? ! You need to determine the pressure of the exhaust valve! ! Just use your design pressure! ! The internal gas is definitely exhausted first; once the liquid fills it, it naturally gets sealed! ! It depends on the specific structure of the breather valve! ! In my opinion, could the inhalation pressure and exhalation pressure be set at 0.8 times and 1.15 times respectively of the work pressure? I haven’t worked on the project mentioned by the original poster, but I have experience with nitrogen sealing, which is somewhat similar; this is just for reference. You might want to ask the manufacturers of breathing valves.
The diameter of the breather valve determines the speed of exhaust and intake, thereby ensuring that the tank does not experience excessive positive or negative pressure during normal operation, which could damage the equipment. The pressure setting of the breather valve should not be too high; it is generally around 0.1 MP.
