Add flour to temporarily slow things down.
I guess I don’t even know what problems are arising. Just post the photo directly.
You can first find a few people to handle the situation on an emergency basis, with you in charge of managing them; deal with things temporarily before hiring more staff. If the water volume isn’t high, you might consider not adding water for now and instead add nutrients to foster the growth of mud, which will require fewer workers.
