I would like to ask everyone: when should the intelligent + Hart protocol version be used, and when not? For example, if I want to use a vortex flow meter, does it have to be intelligent and support the Hart protocol? Is remote transmission still necessary? Are there also some instruments such as differential pressure transmitters and radio frequency admittance level gauges that must be intelligent + Hart type? The individual is quite vague!
Vortex flow meters generally require remote transmission. You can choose whether to use an intelligent option; you decide which protocol to use when selecting tables. It’s not necessary.
