Do steam pipelines need anti-corrosion treatment, and why?
During construction, for steam pipes, we normally apply one coat of anti-rust paint first, and then proceed directly with insulation on top of it.
What the poster is asking is probably whether to apply anti-corrosion paint, right? According to strict regulatory requirements, anti-corrosion paint should be applied; however, if the pipes are made of stainless steel, this is not necessary, and insulation can be applied directly instead.
