Our company needs a hot water flow meter to control the amount of wastewater discharged. The accuracy requirement is not high, but the cost should be low. I would like to ask everyone here how to choose the right model?
For budget options, domestic products are the best choice! The pipe diameter, hot water temperature, and flow rate for high-speed manufacturers are now left to the manufacturers to determine
For clean fluids, throttle devices (orifice plates) are used, while for dirty fluids, wedge-shaped electromagnets or similar devices are employed.

Hot water generally contains few impurities, and if control is necessary, high precision isn’t required. In this case, a throttle orifice plate together with a differential pressure transmitter will suffice; the total cost is only a few thousand yuan.

I agree to choose the electromagnetic version; the domestic ones aren’t expensive either. Good rotors are more expensive than electromagnets, and their precision is not high
