Our company’s internal floating roof gasoline tanks use steel belt level gauges and on-site float type level gauges for measurement, and the data discrepancies are relatively large. I was wondering if there are any better level gauges available? Since it’s an internal floating roof, radar level gauges might not be very suitable... Thank you in advance

There is a method of installation that allows radar level gauges to be installed on internal floating roof tanks; this is done when the tank needs to be emptied. A radar level gauge can be used; for internal floating roof tanks, a design with an internally extending sleeve can be employed. A liquid temperature average meter should also be installed, as these two devices enable more accurate measurement.
