Bituminous coal (QM), coking coal (]M), 1/3 coking coal (1/3]M), weakly caking coal (RN), long-flame coal (Cy), non-caking coal (EN). As we all know, semi-coke is essentially bituminous coal. I would like to ask the experienced professionals in this field: which of the above coal types can be used to produce semi-coke? And why? Long-flame coal works fine; our company uses long-flame coal. But I don’t know exactly why either.
It is mainly weakly caking or non-caking long-flame coal, which belongs to low-grade bituminous coal and cannot be used for coking. Coking coal has better quality, and no one uses coking coal to produce semi-coke
