According to GB151, the reinforcement of openings in the shell of low-temperature heat exchangers should be done using integral reinforcement or thick-walled tubes. Does this mean that reinforcement rings cannot be used to reinforce openings in such shells?
It seems that the amendment changed the character ’ying’ to ’yi’. It can only be said that reinforcement rings should be avoided as much as possible if they are not necessary.
