Regarding the completion documents for PE gas pipelines

I have recently taken on installation projects for PE gas pipelines over a few kilometers in length, but I’m not sure what documents should be used as a reference. For projects related to PetroChina, there were blue books available; I’m not sure what kind of documents can be used as a reference for urban gas pipelines. Thank you for your advice.
PE gas pipelines – does PE refer to polyethylene? Is it just that I don’t know enough – is PE another type of material?

Reply to 2# sjxwolf: It’s made of polyethylene material. I’ve never worked with this type before, but it’s much simpler than metal gas pipes. I just don’t know which version should be used as a reference for the documentation.
