It seems that GB50183-2004 is about to be upgraded; opinions are currently being sought from petroleum-related organizations. Would everyone like to discuss any good suggestions they might have? ! The following are my suggestions regarding GB50183-2004, which I would like to share with everyone: Suggestions for GB50183-2004 1. Regarding 5.1.3, locations within oil and gas stations that have open flames or generate sparks, such as boiler rooms, substations (or distribution stations) of 35 kV and above, heating furnaces, and water-tube furnaces, should preferably be located at the edge of the station or the oil and gas production area. Recommendation: Substations (distribution stations) of 35 kV and above, as well as heating furnaces with an open flame such as water jackets, should be located outside the station area. 2. The layout of combustible gas compressors in 6.3.1 and the design of their plant facilities shall comply with the following provisions ； 1 Combustible gas compressors should be installed outdoors or in a sheltered area. Recommendation: The standards should take into full account situations such as oil and gas fields in deserts or extreme heat or cold weather conditions. Therefore, in desert areas, it is recommended that combustible gas compressors be installed indoors, with due consideration given to the effects of the surrounding environment (such as sandstorms, extreme high temperatures, and extreme low temperatures). 3. For natural gas condensate tanks and liquefied petroleum gas tanks in 6.6.12, a secondary dehydration system equipped with anti-freezing measures is recommended. Recommendation: Given that the removal of natural gas condensate and liquefied petroleum gas from crude oil inevitably involves the presence of water vapor, it is recommended that, in addition to installing a secondary dehydration system, measures should be taken to prevent freezing of the pipelines in low-temperature winter conditions (by ensuring proper insulation of the pipes). 4. It is recommended that when revising the standards, specific provisions be made for the central control room and auxiliary office areas; for stations of types one, two, three, and four, it is suggested that the combined duty area be located outside the station, so as to fully reflect the people-oriented concept. 5. It is recommended that the fire protection team evaluate whether it is necessary to install a dry powder fire extinguishing system in the natural gas facility
Today, we organized discussions among several teams and added the following suggestions: 1. It is recommended to add a fourth level of station for 5.3.1； 2. Regarding 6.3.9, it is suggested that the inlets of positive pressure ventilation systems should be placed 9 meters above the ground level – is this necessary? Can it be reduced? 3. For 6.8.9, it is recommended to change categories A and B liquids to flammable liquids. 4. For sections 8.4 and 8.5, it is recommended to install water seal wells at the drainage outlets outside the fire dike in the tank area, to prevent oil spills or leaks from flowing outside the fire dike along with the fire cooling water. 5. For 6.1.11, it is recommended that oily wastewater be discharged in a sealed manner.
