Technical discussion: “Chemical” water treatment methods

My school requires me to submit my graduation thesis next month. The topic I chose is: General treatment of industrial wastewater – An exploration of chemical treatment methods. However, after writing it, aside from an introduction to chemical treatment methods, I don’t think there’s much distinctive content in it. That’s why I’m reaching out to everyone here for some ideas to help me improve it. Thank you so much~:victory:
It is recommended that, in addition to the general introduction, examples be given to illustrate the effectiveness of chemical methods, comparisons with biochemical and other processes, application scenarios, and the selection of catalysts, among other things

There are too many methods for treating wastewater using chemical approaches; it is best to choose one of them and explain it in detail. Methods such as microelectrolysis and Fenton’s method are easy to find; the key is to determine the parameters for treating certain types of wastewater, such as reaction time, the amount of chemicals to be used, and the impact of pH levels – there’s plenty of information available for this purpose.
Take some chemicals as a comparison and write down their characteristics, advantages, and disadvantages. :D
In my opinion, aside from the advantages of writing methods, the cost issue should be taken into account as well; this is also a key factor that companies consider when deciding to adopt such methods.
Do you want to provide an overview of the current “chemical method” for water treatment? “What are the advantages and disadvantages of the “chemical method” for water treatment? And industrial application examples? Effect? Prospects? .... There’s actually a ton of things that can be written! I also majored in chemical engineering; I graduated in 2008, and my field of work at graduation was organic synthesis. Hehe~~~
The advantages of chemical methods lie in their ability to achieve certain parameters that physical and biological methods cannot reach; especially when considering chemical reagents and electrochemistry, these methods can be used for removing heavy metals, decolorization, reusing treated water, sterilization, and more. There is still a lot to write about chemistry! ! ! I hope my buddy can work in the wastewater industry and make use of the advantages of chemistry in wastewater treatment! ! ! Hehe
