There are specialized sampling instruments for liquid ammonia sampling.
1. There is a dedicated sampler (gas cylinder) that allows sampling while draining; once frost forms on the cylinder, it’s ready; 2. Direct emission sampling is also an option.
We use an open bottle to collect the sample directly; as a result, some of the ammonia vapor escapes, which is dangerous and can irritate the person performing the sampling. I heard it’s collected using gas cylinders? I wonder how everyone collects them? Firstly, it is to ensure convenient sampling, and secondly, it is for safety reasons.
A dedicated sampling bottle is used, with one end connected to a vacuum pump for creating a vacuum and the other end connected to the sampling port for introducing liquid ammonia samples.

When taking samples, it is important to avoid frostbite; use a separator to keep the sampling hose apart from other elements before opening the sampling valve. After sampling, close the valve and wait until the frost on the hose has melted before removing it. Using an open-mouthed container for sampling is a very simple procedure
