Seek advice on the design of the pump inlet pipeline

For the reducer at the pump’s inlet pipe, why does cavitation not occur when it is installed with the top aligned? Please explain the reason
This post was last edited by lshx888 on 2011-5-31 19:09. It uses large and small diameters; the inlet diameter is larger, resulting in less resistance at the same flow rate.
