Can plastic-lined carbon steel be used inside vacuum equipment? The material is acidic.
Steel-lined pipes cannot be used to transport materials under vacuum conditions, as the lining will then peel off; steel-reinforced plastic composite pipes can be used instead, as they are formed in one step and do not experience delamination.

The peeling of the lining also has a certain relationship with vacuum and temperature. Additionally, I’m not sure what material is used for the lining inside your equipment

It’s not just vacuum that affects lining equipment; temperature is also very important. With a vacuum present, the lining process can still be used, but the sheet lining process cannot be employed. The spraying process or rotational molding process can be chosen. However, the operating temperature must not be too high.
If there is a vacuum environment, lining with plastic is not recommended; spraying is the better option as it can withstand vacuum conditions
Conditions are relative! It depends on how you go about solving it~~~~~~~~ There are methods available for dealing with vacuum issues using board linings; don’t assume that spraying is the only solution! It depends on your process conditions to determine the most suitable manufacturing method.

What is the acid content of the liquid? What is the temperature? Are there particles? For high temperatures, an enamel lining can be considered!
