Selection of boiler control system

There are two steam boilers with a capacity of 75 T/h. Is it appropriate to use a single DCS control system, or is it better to have an independent PLC system for each boiler? Everyone, please give some advice
It is recommended to use DCS; I’ve seen more power plants using it. In terms of functionality, both are fine; the main consideration is the price.
The price difference isn’t significant; using DCS has more advantages.
Strictly speaking, DCS should be used for overall control and display, while PLC should be used as the instrument protection system. From a cost-saving perspective, using PLCs and good secondary development software, along with IFIX and SCADA as operation interfaces, helps to save money and ensure safety. PLCs with safety certifications are very expensive. Hehe.
I suggest using a DCS system with two to three controllers
It’s definitely DCS – it’s easier to maintain, with the ability to modify programs online and so on. .
