The phrase ‘once hoses are disconnected and secured’ means: once the hoses are detached and…’. I’m not sure what exactly ‘secured’ means; I would appreciate it if experts could help me out. Thank you.
It means not secure, FYI
It seems to mean fixing or placing it in a safe location after the hose is disconnected.
Here, “secured” means to bind, tie, or fix in place. once hoses are disconnected and secured ... .. after the hoses have been cut off and secured. . .
It would be better to show the whole sentence next time.
Just translate it as “put it away”. There is a high risk when connecting hoses, and additional fixation is required. Once it is removed and set free, there is no risk anymore.
