DUR O LOK® wedge system: The core design of DUR O LOK® involves two unique outer rings with hubs mounted on the same axis; two semi-circular inner rings with wedge-shaped grooves corresponding to those hubs cover the outside of the hubs’ wedge-shaped grooves. This wedge-shaped groove not only clamps the hub laterally but also applies longitudinal pressure to ensure tight contact at the ends of the hub, while compressing the washer to guarantee reliable sealing. The outer rings of the two semi-circular gear pairs are sloped.
