Discussion on the material issues of pressure gauge data sheets

Hello everyone, I’ve come across a data sheet for a service:seater to dcwr pressure element. The type of pressure element is Bourdon, the material used is K MONEL, and the material for the socket is MONEL 400. Could everyone please discuss how this material was chosen? Generally, the material of the instrument is higher in grade or equal to that of the pipeline. But why is the material of the pressure element different from that of the socket: K MONEL while the socket material is MONEL 400? ?
K MONEL should refer to Monel K500; it has the same corrosion resistance as Monel 400, but it boasts higher mechanical strength. Since the interface material specified in your datasheet is Monel 400, it is likely used in seawater or environments containing certain amounts of ions such as chlorine and fluorine. I don’t see any issue with using Monel K500 for the component materials
