There is an issue in the general layout design: should all roads within the plant be defined as main roads or secondary roads? Please ask experienced master plan players for guidance.
This is generally meaningful only in the case of Class A warehouses, workshops, and tank areas. If the building codes are applied, it should be.
However, according to the \"Code for Design of Roads in Petrochemical Plants\" SH3023-2005, it seems that not every road needs to be classified as primary or secondary; refer to clause 4.3 of the explanatory notes for this code
Personally, I don’t think it’s necessary to distinguish between primary and secondary; if there’s enough space, try to place them as close to the primary one as possible.
In fact, once you define the roads, a distinction between primary and secondary routes is established naturally, depending on how you plan them when setting them up and why you decide to do so. The combination of functions and traffic volume determines the aforementioned characteristics
Considering factors such as layout, spacing, and transportation, main and secondary roads are necessary; for roads with lower requirements, secondary roads should be used whenever possible.
