Do the two refer to the same thing? Is the working principle the same? BZT or ATS? The same or different?
In my opinion, it should be the same thing; it’s just used for different purposes.

In principle, the two are the same. The backup auto-transfer device features monitoring, judgment, and control outputs ； The dual-power switch is intelligent, similar to it.
What I encountered: BZT is a power supply switching device that achieves interconnection through electrical interlocking. ATS, on the other hand, is a power transfer device that uses mechanical transmission.
The former is a bit more expensive; we usually choose the latter for our equipment. In fire protection applications, the former has been used in power stations
