It’s possible; this is generally how it’s done. However, safety must be taken into account: 1. First, shut down the power to each electrical circuit and ground them. 2. Make holes in the ash hopper to allow drainage. 3. Provide waterproofing for the equipment located below the ash hopper. 4. After flushing, use firewood in the furnace to dry everything with smoke
Try to avoid using water for cleaning electrostatic precipitators to prevent corrosion. It can be cleaned using methods such as vibration or air pumps; if water is used for cleaning, it must be dried promptly to avoid corrosion.
It can be washed. Our factory washes it every about 3 years; a large amount of sludge is produced during washing and must be disposed of. After washing, the interior needs to be kept well-ventilated and dry
It is still recommended to use compressed air for cleaning; water can cause many problems
