Texaco’s water-coal slurry gasification technology is constantly being updated and improved. Who can talk about the progress made in the past two years? Or rather, what new developments have there been in the Texaco water-coal slurry gasification process software package over the past two years?

At present, the 8.7 MPa gasification unit at Nanhua (not Jinling) has been put into operation and is functioning well; it was converted from an oil-gasification unit to a coal-gasification unit. There are currently two more units under design, namely those at Dahuà and Qilu.

Currently, the earliest Texaco gasification plants in operation are the Shanghai Coking Plant and Anhui Huaihua Plant. The highest pressure of 8.7 MPa is encountered in the gasification process at Sinopec Nanjing Chemical Company. The equipment of the above companies is all operating well. There are also many under construction, such as 3D, Jutai, Idong, Lu’an, Yankuang, and so on. I haven’t heard of any modifications, but recently, Lunan Chemical Plant and Lunan University have developed multi-nozzle burners that offer better gasification results and higher yields of usable gas.
