How to color in Navisworks

This post was last edited by ypfei2008 on 2011-6-7 at 11:23. The 3D model was created using PDSoft; when it is opened in Navisworks, it appears as lines only. How can I color and render it? I would like to ask for advice
In NW, coloring can only be applied to entities; it seems the model in PDSOFT needs to be converted. But does PDSOFT have a conversion function?
What format do you need it converted to? Please let me know
It’s not about converting file formats. PDSOFT’s model is a custom entity, and such entities do not have corresponding readers in NW, so NW is unable to recognize them. Models like AutoPLANT are also custom entities, but NW can recognize their models by installing Object Enabler. If PDSOFT does not have such an Enabler, the model can only be converted into a CAD entity, but the file format remains DWG.
