I am an electrician responsible for maintaining polypropylene production facilities. I would like to understand the process by which materials enter the polypropylene plant, flow through it, and are finally sent to the finished products storage area. It would be helpful if this could be analyzed from the perspective of electrical equipment, as this would allow me to better understand the relationship between electrical systems and the manufacturing process. What we are maintaining now is a polypropylene plant using a loop reactor, but in the future we will need to maintain one with large tanks – is this what’s called the gas-phase method? I’m not sure what the technology is called I hope I can get a basic understanding of both, mainly focusing on electrical leavening. Thank you for your help?
Which factory are you from? In the loop reactor process, feed enters the loop reactor from D302 to P301; in the atmospheric process, feed comes from S2001 and S2501, and then it is pressed into the reactor by a compressor. In some plants, the corresponding equipment is designated as D201 and D251
Electricians are generalists; there is no inherent connection to specific processes – one only needs to pay attention to the dangerous points of the equipment and the key components during work.
