I have two questions for everyone now. 1: Should the operation of the vacuum pump be integrated into the DCS system? Personally, I don’t think it’s necessary. As long as the program reaches this step, a prompt should appear. The vacuum pump is manually operated by the operator to evacuate the area, and once that is done, the DCS proceeds with the subsequent steps. Another method is to control the vacuum pump with a pressure switch. When the pressure meets the requirement, it is connected to a vacuum pump for evacuation; once a certain negative pressure is reached, the positive pressure system is automatically disconnected. In addition to the cost, this method also relies more on instruments. 2: Does the gas drawn out by the vacuum pump go into a system? Since the vacuum pump is used for starting and stopping, the gases drawn in include nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, TCS, etc. . Previously, two systems were used (atmospheric emissions and process emissions). Is there also 2 systems now? When parking, air is definitely drawn in to the process system. The key question is: does oxygen also enter the process system when driving? Is it safe?
