As the title suggests: if there are special circumstances that require a tower replacement as soon as possible, how can this be handled?
In special circumstances, special treatment is necessary; the coke tower can be urgently preheated using a large amount of 1Mp steam for over 30 minutes before the tower can be replaced
If the preheating temperature often doesn’t reach the required level, then reduce the main valve controlling distillation accordingly; in special cases, 250 degrees is sufficient
It is said that the preheating of the coke tower abroad has been going on for 2 hours already.
It should be true; as long as the coke tower can accommodate such a heating rate, there is no problem for the new technology to meet these conditions.
