During the commissioning of a vacuum distillation unit, a vacuum tightness test is carried out. What are the criteria for determining whether the test is successful? Is there a unified standard?
Generally, for our company, a static pressure increase of 5% or less within 24 hours is considered acceptable; ideally, it should be within 3%
Maintain pressure for 24 hours; if the vacuum level drops by less than 0.2–0.5 kPa, the airtightness test is successful
